Please join us for a glamorous summer evening of Gin & Jazz. 
The Earl and Countess of Carnarvon are delighted to welcome you to Highclere Castle for an evening of elegance and fun at the home of the real Downton Abbey.
Your evening will begin with a warm welcome from Lady Carnarvon along with a glass of Highclere Castle Champagne or a cocktail, followed by the opportunity to explore the Castle’s state rooms at your leisure. This will include an opportunity to explore our celebrated Egyptian Exhibition.
As the sun softens over the gardens, you’ll be invited into our summer garden marquee where the sound of jazz sets the scene. Enjoy a complimentary cocktail on arrival or more champagne as the jazz band entertains you. A delicious selection of enticing summer food will capture the season’s flavours.
Our Highclere Gin cocktail bar will be open offering a range of drinks and cocktails available for purchase, providing the perfect accompaniment to the live jazz and relaxed, elegant setting.

All visitors are welcome to arrive from 5:30pm if you would like to visit the Gift Shop before the Castle opens. Entry to the Castle will be at 6:00pm.
