with Castle Tours and Supper!

Step into a world of history and splendour for an unforgettable Glamour & Glitz evening at Highclere Castle. Lord and Lady Carnarvon invite you to join them for a memorable evening enjoying all the castle has to offer.
Begin your night walking along a red carpet into the Castle’s Saloon where you will be greeted with Highclere Champagne and the sound of live jazz drifting through the air.
Guests are invited to explore the State Rooms, stepping onto the set of the real Downton Abbey, whilst enjoying a delicate selection of canapes.
The evening promises wonderful entertainment including Scottish reeling (not compulsory) to start the festivities. Enjoy supper in our beautifully lit marquee, with a buffet of traditional summer dishes including poached salmon and roast beef, accompanied by a glass of wine.
Throughout the night, dance to the live jazz band next to the floodlit Castle. Enjoy the glamour of the Highclere Gin cocktail bar as the celebrations unfold on a beautiful summer’s evening.
We are pleased to welcome members of ‘Friends of Highclere’ at 5:30 pm, with all other guests invited to join us at 6:30 pm.
‘Friends of Highclere’ guests will also be treated to a special cocktail hour in the marquee with Lord Carnarvon and will receive a complimentary gin cocktail from Luis, our very own butler.

Friends of Highclere will be welcomed into the Castle at 5:30pm for a Champagne and canapé reception. You may tour the State Rooms and Gallery Bedrooms at your leisure.
You will then be invited to the dinner marquee for a buffet supper, followed by cocktail hour in the entertainment marquee.
After cocktail hour, the main evening’s entertainment begins, featuring Scottish reeling and live jazz.

Welcomed into the Castle at 6:30pm for a Champagne and canapé reception, you may tour the State Rooms and Gallery Bedrooms at your leisure.
You will then be invited into the dinner marquee for a buffet supper.
After supper, join the Friends of Highclere in the entertainment marquee for an evening of entertainment, featuring Scottish reeling and live jazz.
