Highclere Castle’s Easter Egg Trail
Saturday 19^th April 2025

Join us to explore the Highclere Castle Easter Trail, set through our gardens and woodland. At the end of the Trail, each child will win a chocolate Easter Egg! 

We would very much welcome children to take part in our Easter Bonnet parade; please do bring your creations along with you. We hope that the children will enjoy the bouncy slide (this is weather dependent and may be subject to an additional charge) and meeting some of our farm animals.

We ask you to kindly pre-book adult tickets and confirm how many children you are bringing so that we can ensure every child receives an Easter egg once they have completed the trail.

The adult garden ticket is £15 per person which gives access to the Easter Egg Trail, Gardens and Grounds, Tea Rooms and Gift Shop. Please note, this ticket does NOT include access to either the Castle or the Egyptian Exhibition.

The child admission ticket price is to be paid on the day to our chosen charity – The Murray Parish Trust.  We suggest £5 per child, but welcome any additional donations you are able to give.

Highclere Castle is proud to support the ‘Murray Parish Trust’ as our chosen charity for this event. This is such a fantastic charity which supports children’s emergency services across the South of England by raising money and awareness to support projects at key trauma centres, to enable pioneering research and provide life-saving equipment.

The Easter Egg Trail will run from 10:00am until 2.30pm
The Easter Bonnet Parade will take place at 12.30pm and is free to enter with prizes awarded for the most wonderful bonnets
The event will end at 4:00pm
The Grounds close at 5:00pm

Our "Picnic Afternoon Tea for Two" is not available with this event. However, our normal Tea Rooms will also be open from 9:30am until 5pm, serving light lunches, snacks, cake, scones and tasty Easter treats.

If the weather is adverse and you are not able to visit, please note that tickets are non-refundable, but all ticket sales will be donated to the Murray Parish Trust.
