Vintage style metal and coloured paste stone brooch. The Victorian era popularised brooches that celebrated natural motifs such as beetles, butterflies and bees. Sometimes they had symbolic meanings such as dragonflies which represented change and transformation or butterflies which showed renewal or rebirth. Most of all they are fun. Can be worn either as a brooch or as a hair clip.
